“Top 40” recognizes companies for contributions to Georgia technology community

The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state’s leading association dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of Georgia’s technology industry, today announced Preparis as one of its Top 40 Innovative Technology Companies in Georgia. TAG will recognize this prestigious group at the 2011 Georgia Technology Summit (GTS) on March 23, 2011, at the Cobb Galleria.

TAG’S Top 40 Awards recognize Georgia-based companies for their innovation, financial impact, and their efforts at spreading awareness of Georgia’s technology initiatives throughout the U.S. and globally.

“Each of the 40 companies we are recognizing have made a significant impact on how we live and do business through their technology innovation,” said Tino Mantella, president & CEO of TAG. “We applaud each of these companies for their success and contribution to making Georgia a leading state for technology education, research and business. At TAG we are committed to supporting companies like these and we fully expect that, with their ongoing leadership and innovation, Georgia’s technology community continue to grow and be top in class in the U.S. and beyond.” We all know that technology does help play a positive role in the success of many business. As there is so much you can do thanks to many innovations, running a business doesn’t always have to be a struggle. With companies like CloudPay, who said dealing with payroll has to be stressful anymore! It is definitely worth using these tools to your advantage. Running a business can also be rewarding at the same time. When you see the results you were hoping for, it just makes everything worth it. Of course, before launching your business, there was a lot to look into and unanswered questions such as what does SLA mean?, which is important to know for your business. If you don’t ask questions, you will never know. But once you do your research, you start understanding everything a lot better. Plus, now that technology has and is playing a large part in businesses, this is something worth being excited for. You can’t really go wrong with technology. There are even some businesses using robotic process automation to improve their businesses and help to make them run smoother.

“Each year it becomes harder to choose our Top 40 companies because of the rapidly increasing number of high-quality technology businesses in our state,” said Dennis Zakas, a partner and founder of Zakas & Leonard, LLP and chairperson of the Top 40 Selection Committee. “This year’s Top 40 companies are sterling examples of the technology innovation in Georgia’s DNA. We are proud to recognize this year’s winners and wish them continued success.”
