The Terrorism Risk Insurance Act (TRIA) is scheduled to expire at the end of this year, which allows private insurers to provide affordable terrorism insurance coverage in the event of catastrophic loss during a terrorist attack. The American Bankers Insurance Association, in conjunction with the American Bankers Association, urges you to contact your US House of Representatives delegate to adopt the approved Senate’s version of the bill that extends this act for an additional 7 years.
